Mark & Bev Hefter

Overview: Since 2000, Mark and Bev have been serving in the ministry of Bible Translation, both stateside and overseas in Papua New Guinea in various capacities. Their goal remains the same: eradicating Bible poverty. Everyone deserves a chance to read God’s Word in their own language!
In the member care role, Mark and Bev minister to Wycliffe families serving around the world or transitioning to life back in the U.S. Member care is important because, like all of us, missionaries can become ill, discouraged, inadequately funded or simply exhausted. More often though, missionaries face these circumstances as they live and serve in areas where they are more isolated, experience cultural stress, or where the physical environment can be remarkably intense. Good member care is the number one priority for a person’s well-being. Mark and Bev maintain a relationship with 65 teams, under their care, by encouraging them, answering their questions, and connecting them with helpful resources so they can serve effectively. Member care can make a difference between someone staying on the field or giving up. This can affect how quickly God’s Word is made available in another language!

Dayna Wutke

Overview: Dayna Wutke has been a missionary with Global Outreach since February 1986. Presently, Dayna serves at the National 4-H Youth Development Center located in Belize’s capital city, Belmopan. She is one of the teachers for 4-H trainees in the areas of math and reading. In addition to teaching, Dayna’s main focus is sharing Christ through a daily lifestyle of walking with Jesus. Dayna assists and coordinates several youth camps throughout the summer months and serves as a Junior Youth Leader at the church she attends in Belize.

Overview: Tom and Deb have served with YWAM for 27 years. For the past 15 years, they have been with the School of Biblical Studies (SBS). They are currently working with the Online SBS training new Bible teachers and helping to start new Bible schools.
